Pause…. And Help Us Make A Change
Paws For Change aims to work with a number of animal shelters both locally and globally to raise funds for individual projects. Whether it be raising money to supply blankets to a local shelter in rural China for dogs rescued from the dog meat market or raising funds to neuter street dogs in Thailand or fundraising for new bedding and kennels for a local SA shelter, we aim to help as many dogs as we can live their best lives and find loving fur-ever homes.
At Paws For Change, we want our fundraising efforts to be complete and transparent. We aim to provide as much information as possible on the exact nature of where your generous donations are going and then, once the target is reached and the project is complete, we’ll post ‘after’ photos so you can see first hand the difference your generosity has made.
Please see our current projects below and help us be the voice for those who have no voice.
You can also follow our progress via our social media sites. Give us a follow on Facebook and Instagram and keep up to date with our projects, our activities and all the beautiful souls we’re making a difference for.

BoHe is a respected rescuer based in rural China. Her shelter houses over 2,500 dogs all rescued from the dog meat market and all being rehabilitated ready for adoption. As they face freezing winter conditions, we aim to raise $800 to supply coats and blankets for these dogs – many of whom are bulldogs and other short haired breeds, not used to such cold conditions.

Safe Pets Safe Families is an Australian registered charity whose services provide emergency retrieval and in home fostering of pets for people fleeing domestic violence situations.
Their services are also available to people experiencing sudden homelessness, health or financial crisis.
Unfortunately, Christmas is a time when domestic violence cases spike and we’re aiming to raise $1,000 to provide food and medication (worming and flea treatments) for the influx of pets coming into their foster system.

The Hahndorf Interim Animal Shelter is run purely on a volunteer and donation basis.
They care for a number of animals and often face huge vet bills as these animals need extensive grooming, desexing or dental work before being eligible for adoption.
We aim to raise funds to help with their escalating vet bills, allowing them to put more of their own funds into providing food and bedding for the huge number of animals that are constantly coming through their doors.
